Florida football recruiting is bringing in tons of talent in the 2024 class, with many more potential commitments on the horizon.

One of the top players currently committed to Billy Napier is Myles Graham, a top 50 player in the country and a top-five linebacker.

Graham has been committed to the Gators for several months now, announcing his pledge in August of last year.

It’s clear now as well that Myles is solid with his commitment, and is very optimistic about the future of the Gators.

He talked to Luke Winstel, an ESPN+ broadcaster, about his commitment and how he feels about UF.

Most of the time recruits will talk this way. It would be pretty surprising if a recruit got on the mic and said “Yeah we might make a few bowl games, but that’s probably it.”

But this 2024 cycle does feel a little different for the Gators.

It’s Napier’s second full cycle as the Gators’ coach, and the players he’s getting to sign on are on a different level both on and off the field.

It has guys like DJ Lagway who drop everything to help recruit, and an overall higher caliber of players. They have a higher average rating per player than every school in the top 15 aside from UGA.

If Napier is going to turn the program around and bring Florida back to national prominence, recruiting players like Graham is critical.

Having confidence in your school, even after they go 6-7, is a sign that the team is headed in the right direction.
