On paper, Kentucky shouldn’t be good. Will Levis graduated, and their recruiting classes haven’t been elite enough to separate them as a clear upper-half SEC East team.
Yet here they are at number three because someone has to be.
The Wildcats keep finding a way to keep falling upwards. They lost to Vanderbilt and South Carolina last year but beat Florida and Mississippi State.
With Mississippi State as their permanent crossover, if they can not get upset by Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and Missouri, it’s not impossible to see this squad go 5-3 in the conference, even with Alabama on the slate in 2023.
