Ranking the prospective starting quarterbacks in the SEC
By Will Thomas
Finally, at the top of our list, is LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels.
I’ve loved watching Daniels play ever since his time at Arizona State, and his game transferred over to LSU perfectly.
After a slow start to the year, the Tigers got hot, and Daniels was leading the way. Last season he threw for 2,913 yards, 17 touchdowns, and just three interceptions. Daniels also ran for 885 yards and 11 more touchdowns.
He had his best game throwing last season in The Swamp, passing for 349 yards and three scores in their win over the Gators.
Given how much Jayden improved midseason, we can only expect he’ll get even better with an entire offseason to continue working in Baton Rouge.
I think Daniels will have an outstanding year and LSU will be right near the top of the SEC behind their QB.
