Ranking the prospective starting quarterbacks in the SEC

SEC football: For the pirate
What the Mississippi State players, coaches, and fans had to go through last season with the passing of Mike Leach was horrible.
Now, they have extra motivation to come out and play as hard as they can to honor his memory. Rogers said that the Bulldogs’ bowl game win was for Mike, but they want more than just a win over Illinois.
Will is the head of an outstanding offense in Starkville. After almost reaching 5,000 yards in 2021, he threw for 3,974 yards, 35 touchdowns, and eight interceptions last year with a 68% completion percentage.
He threw for 400+ yards twice last season as well, once against Bowling Green and the other against Arkansas.
Entering his 4th season, playing for his home state Bulldogs, Rogers is going to give it everything he’s got.
Expect Will to be up near the top of the SEC statistically, and for him to finish out his career doing what he’s always done, slingin’ it around the field.
