Florida football recruiting has already done a fantastic job on the recruiting trial when it comes to closing on their priority targets.

Two that come to mind immediately are 5-star QB DJ Lagway and 4-star safety Xavier Filsaime, both from Texas, who are currently headlining the Gators’ class.

Billy Napier just recently sealed the deal with speedy wide receiver Izaiah Williams, as well as securing LB Myles Graham and RB Chaunce Bowens, both of whom are in the top-15 of their respective positions.

But Napier and his staff know that there is a lot more closing to be done on the trail if they want to have an elite class.

The Gators are in a great spot right now as the ’24 cycle continues. They’re in good shape to potentially flip a few elite players like Jeremiam Smith and Dealyn Evans, as well as land a few uncommitted prospects who like what they see in Gainesville.

UF is in the lead for multiple of their high-priority 2024 prospects and is looking to seal the deal sooner rather than later. We don’t need John Ruiz throwing checks at these guys that will just end up bouncing.

So without wasting any more of your time, here are some of Florida’s top prospects that the Gators are trending up for in the 2024 recruiting class.
