SEC Power Rankings: Who are we? The Wildcats!

2022 Record: 7-6

2023 FPI Rating: 9.7

ESPN Win Projection: 7

Draft Kings Win Projection: 6.5

Best Recruiting Class Last Four Years: 14th (2022)

Transfer Portal: 6th in SEC

A lot of people dog on Florida for having Anthony Richardson and going 6-7 in 2022.

But somehow, Kentucky avoided this wrath despite having Will Levis and going 7-6 in 2022.

The metrics are mixed for Kentucky heading into 2023. They did land Devin Leary from NC State to take over as their signal caller.

But beyond that, this isn’t a particularly talented roster on paper. Their headliner from their best recruiting class in the last four years, Kiyaunta Goodwin, is now in Gainesville.

They have recruiting classes that have hovered in the 30s.

We know Mark Stoops will play defense, and these aren’t the same old Wildcats, but the ceiling for Kentucky is the same as it always was.
