For most players that Billy Napier is trying to convince to become a member of Florida football, there is a vision of where that player will slide in once they arrive on campus.

But then some players are a jack of all trades that coaches recruit because they are so athletic that they could fill any number of positions.

Jadan Baugh is one of those players.

Florida Football: Mr. Do It All

Listed at 6’0″ and 214 pounds, Baugh is a highly-rated three-star prospect out of Decatur, GA. Playing for Columbia High, it’s almost easier to list what positions Baugh doesn’t play than what one he does.

On his Hudl page, Baugh lists himself as a QB, RB, WR, OLB, and SS. And on film, he pops out as the most athletic player on the field, making dynamic play after dynamic play.

At his best, Baugh is a master at getting out of tight spaces and is a nightmare for opposing defenses to bring down. He’s not a QB that runs in a power set compared to Kahnen Daniels; more so, he’s a player that Coumbia High moves all around the field to find creative ways to get him the ball and let him do his thing.

The potential drawback to Baugh is that he is a jack of all trades but a master of none. He probably projects best as a slot receiver, but given his build and lack of depth at the position, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Florida test him at safety. He would need to polish up his route running to make it in the slot.

Baugh dropped his top six yesterday, and Florida is still in the running along with Georgia, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Louisville, and South Carolina.

On3 had Tennessee in the lead for his services, but they didn’t make his top six. South Carolina is the next best bet, but if Billy Napier genuinely wants Baugh one would have to imagine he could beat out Shane Beamer to get him.
