Florida Football NFL Draft Biggest Surprises: O’Cyrus Torrence falls to late in the second round

Seemingly everyone had O’Cyrus Torrence pegged as a late first-round pick that multiple teams could have picked up. While multiple offensive linemen were picked, they were all tackles, and it’s understandable that teams didn’t want to spend a first-round pick on a guard.

As Day 2 began, Torrence was widely considered the top remaining prospect for teams to pick up. But as pick after pick rolled in, Torrence wasn’t selected. Even Gervon Dexter got picked ahead of Torrence.

Eventually, the Buffalo Bills took Torrence with the 59th overall selection, almost 30 spots below where most people expected him to get picked.

If he goes on to have the NFL career most expect him to, the Bills got an absolute steal late in the second round.
