Florida football: Gervon Dexter, Round 3, Pick 70, Las Vegas Raiders

Projections for Dexter are all within ten picks of each other. Some think the Browns will get him at 74, others say the Steelers pick him up at 80.

But in my mind, the Raiders won’t let Dexter slip by them in the beginning of round 3.

While he isn’t a first-night talent in their eyes, NFL scouts love what Dexter brings to the DL. His skill set is undeniable and he’s a monstrous presence on the interior of the line.

Why I believe the Raiders will spring for Dexter is because pairing him with their veteran guy on the edge, Mason Crosby, will be terrifying for opposing offenses.

It’s a good spot for Dexter to develop and learn from veteran guys early on in his career.
