Florida football: O’Cyrus Torrence, Round 1, Pick 20, Seattle Seahawks

Gator fans won’t have to wait until round two to hear another familiar name get called. A lot of mocks have Torrence going later in round one to the Steelers, but I don’t think the Seahawks let him by at 20.

Torrence was absolutely dominant in the SEC, ranked as one of the top guards in the country by PFF. His physicality, strength, and ability will translate seamlessly to the NFL.

Seattle is going to be a good fit for him. Adding Torrence up front to block for Kenneth Walker III and Geno Smith is something that Pete Carroll won’t pass up.

Plus, AR has had tons of meetings with the Seahawks, and you know O’Cyrus’ name came up in those talks.

The Gators will have two players drafted in the first round.
