Florida Football Recruiting: Online reactions to Kahnen Daniels committing
Florida football picked up a commitment from four-star running back Kahnen Daniels out of Mississippi. Billy Napier and the Gators were in a dogfight to secure Daniels against Mississippi State.
His announcement elicited reactions from around the internet and we perused around to find some of the best reactions.
Florida Football: The Depths of the Internet
Last month when Daniels was firmly on Florida’s radar, we wrote about Daniels and said that one of his biggest strengths was his vision.
@GuruDrew352 watched the film and came to the same conclusion.
He wasn’t the only one to think that. @JonnyRocketsOTC also watched the film and was impressed by the vision that Daniels possesses.
Of course for Daniels to commit to Florida meant he couldn’t commit to Mississippi State. Bulldog fans seemed to think that Daniels was staying home.
@PirateShipMSU certainly thought so. He took to multiple posts regarding Mississippi State signing Caleb Dozier to let his displeasure known.
Twitter wasn’t the only place to find discussion about Daniels commitment. Reddit is always a gold mine for content, and it didn’t disappoint.
Georgia fan Dogwoodmaple found a way to give “G5 Billy” a new nickname.
"This gives Florida two 4* RB commits for this cycle.Moonsuspenders William with a great start to the 2024 class."
"Comment by u/dogwoodmaple from discussion 2024 4* RB Kahnen Daniels commits to Florida in CFB"
And probably the take we would agree with is from u/edroch, who started that picking up Daniels is needed given the uncertainty surrounding higher rated prospects like five-star Jerrick Gibson
"Nice little pickup seeing that Jerrick Gibson is playing the bag game w/Texas and we’d just be wasting our time there"
"Comment by u/edroch from discussion 2024 4* RB Kahnen Daniels commits to Florida in CFB"
