Florida Football: Kamari Wilson

Kamari Wilson figures to be a massive part of Florida’s pathway to success during the 2023 season. With Trey Dean and Rashad Torrence gone, one would assume Wilson will be entrenched as a starter.

But during his press conference last week, Napier didn’t hold back in saying that the safety position group was young and inexperienced.

And earlier during Spring practice, Napier rattled off five names when asked about defensive players that have stood out to him, and Wilson was not on that list.

Napier also said last week that Florida would peek at the transfer portal during the May window to look for an experienced safety to bring to Gainesville.
