Dane Dunning

Dunning was an effective arm out of the bullpen for the Gators. During the 2016 NCAA Tournament, he pitched 15.1 innings, only allowing one earned run. He finished 2016 with an ERA of 2.29.

Washington drafted him in the first round in 2016, but he was soon traded to the Chicago White Sox.

Dunning had Tommy John surgery and didn’t make his MLB debut until 2020.

He was involved in the trade with Texas that sent Lance Lynn to Chicago.

Dunning once again had surgery in 2022, this time on his hip.

Kirby Snead

Another reliable bullpen guy in 2016 for Florida baseball, Snead, made 41 appearances in 2016 and posted an ERA of 2.78.

Toronto drafted him in 2016 in the 10th round of the draft.

After toiling in the minors for six years, Snead finally got the call-up in 2021.

Snead signed with Oakland in 2022 and made 46 appearances for them. He is on their active roster to start the 2023 season but was placed on the DL with a shoulder injury.
