The season finale at home against the Tigers is hands down the easiest game of these three. LSU is 13-15 overall and just 2-13 in SEC play.

Earlier in the year the Gators went down to Baton Rouge and beat LSU on their home floor by a score of 67-56. They were led by, surprise surprise, Colin Castleton who had 18 points, and only one more Gator was in double figures in Kowacie Reeves who had 11.

The biggest problem for Florida in this one will be KJ Williams, the LSU big man. In their first game against the Gators going up against Castleton, he scored 23 points and had seven rebounds. You have to assume that the Tigers will try and get him a lot of touches with Jitoboh and Szymczyk down low for the Gators.

It’s also another chance for Alex Fudge to get revenge on his former team. After transferring from LSU to Florida this past offseason, he put up seven points and three rebounds in their first matchup.

Coming back home, he’ll be looking to have a bigger impact on the regular season finale.

This game, despite the inferior opponent, is a big one for the Gators. The season finale, at home, with a chance to end the year on a positive note and head to the SEC Tournament with some momentum.

Florida basketball can close out the season on a strong note if they win these three games.
