Florida Gators gymnastics stays undefeated

like all sports, doing well on the road in gymnastics is harder than doing well at home. Beyond all the normal hassles of road travel, judges, tend to magically give the home team slightly higher scores.

So it was a good sign for the Florida Gators, gymnastics squad to post their best road score of the season last night as they defeated Arkansas 197.875 to 197.400.

Leanne Wong led the way for the Gators with two perfect 10 routines, the first coming on the uneven bars.

being the road team, Florida closed out the night on the balance beam and Wong delivered her second 10 of the night on the apparatus.

Other highlights for the Florida gators included Kayla Dicello settling a career high on the balance beam with a 9.950 and Trinity Thomas scoring, a 9.90 or above on three of her four rotations.

The Florida Gators remain ranked second in the country, behind Oklahoma, and will look to crack 198.00 for the first time this season when they take on Missouri at home next Friday.

Keep up with all things Florida Gators with Hail Florida Hail.
