Florida Football: Run Lindsey Run

The year was 1980 and Florida football was about to upset 2nd ranked Georgia. Up 21-20 with under two minutes to play, the Bulldogs were 93-yards away from the end zone and faced a 3rd-and-eight.

New head coach Charley Pell was about to get a signature win, but Georgia running back Lindsey Scott got the ball and Pell was ahead of his time with 3rd-and Grantham because Scott kept running.

And running.

And running.

And as encouraged by Georgia play-by-play man Larry Munson, Lindsey Scott kept running all the way to the end zone.

Georgia would go on to win the national title while Florida eventually was crippled with sanctions thanks to Pell.
