We’re just one day away from Florida football taking on their rival LSU in The Swamp.

These games are always one to keep an eye on, no matter how good each team is. Both teams hate each other, and the bragging rights are crazy for the winners.

Even though he won’t admit it, this game may be a little personal for Billy Napier. LSU didn’t give him a shot at their coach vacancy this past year, despite him being in their backyard.

The Gators are fired up for this game and hope to win what figures to be a close game.

Before toe meets leather, let’s take a look at where the smart money is for this matchup.

Florida football: Best bets for week 7

Since our piece previewing the odds earlier this week, the odds have slightly shifted.

The spread remains at -2.5 for the Gators, and the money lines have shifted ever so slightly. UF is now at -134 to win, and LSU is at +112.

The money line value is good, but I like the spread a lot more. If the spread was -3, I’d be much more hesitant to take it. But it being below that key number makes it very appealing.

Plus, this game is in The Swamp at night. Need I say more?

LSU’s QB Jayden Daniels hasn’t played in an environment like this yet in his career. The PAC-12 crowds he faced back at ASU don’t compare to what he’ll face Saturday night.

LSU will have a tough time settling in, giving the Gators an advantage. The game will still be close, but I love the fact that a field goal at the buzzer covers for UF.

The over/under has moved down one point since Tuesday, now at 50.5. Despite the movement, I still like the under.

LSU got beaten badly by the air attack of Tennesee last weekend. We can’t do that. Our drives will be much slower-paced and likely less explosive. As I mentioned before, Jayden Daniels will be drowning in noise down on the field, and the Tigers’ offense will not be sharp.

A 24-21 game will give us both the under and the cover. Sounds like some nice cash to me.
