A. . . . LORENZO LINGARD

Lorenzo Lingard was expected to be a key contributor for Florida football heading into Spring practice last year. But the arrivals of Montrell Johnson and Trevor Etienne have pushed Lingard back into special team duties.

It’s hard to say Lingard could have done better against EWU. He had 45 yards on his five carries, had really good burst, and should be knocking on the door to supplant Nay’Quan Wright as the third-string running back. Wright by comparison had 27 yards off seven carries.

Keep up with all things Florida football with Hail Florida Hail.
