Florida football: September report cards for Gators defensive players
It’s hard to really put stats on Marshall because it feels like he hasn’t been picked on that often in the Gators’ secondary. He has credit for one pass breakup and no interceptions.
In the games against Utah, Kentucky, and Tennessee he was credited with one tackle, which is a good thing that showcases his man isn’t catching the ball that often to require him to make a play.
Against USF he had three tackles, but that was mostly a case of being asked to play 10-yards off the ball by Patrick Toney.
To this point, Marshall has been rock solid in the back.
