Florida vs Kentucky odds week 2
As of Tuesday afternoon, the Gators are favored by -5.5, with a line of -105 to cover that spread. The spread has already moved up from the -4.5 it opened up at earlier this week, showing some widespread confidence in the Gators taking care of business.
On the other side, Kentucky is -115 to cover 5.5 points
For the money line, the price to pick UF to win is -200, and Kentucky is the clear underdog at +164.
This game is actually projected to be one of the tighter games of the weekend, with oddsmakers only having 3-4 games with tighter spreads and money lines than the Gators and Wildcats.
The over-under for this game is the same as it was against Utah at 51.5.
The price is -110 to go both over and under.
Florida vs Kentucky predictions week 2
As shocking as this may come to some readers, we at HFH like Florida in this contest. And that’s for more reasons than just being homers.
Kentucky is going to be without their top two running backs in The Swamp due to injury and suspension. The running game of Utah is what hurt the Gators in the second half, so it appears that that issue has mostly solved itself.
Without Wan’Dale Robinson at receiver, QB Will Levis was already limited with his options offensively. As long as the Gators don’t let Levis run for 200 yards, the defense should have a great day.
Offensively, we know the Gators will be great. Miami-Ohio rushed for 111 on these guys last week. What do you think AR, Wright, Montrell, and Etienne are going to do to them?
Overall, this is a game that the Gators should win. Sure, divisional games can always be tough, but with the momentum of the program and the skill gap between the two teams, UF should be 2-0 by the time this one is over.
Keep up with Florida football at Hail Florida Hail.
