Florida football offensive line: O’Cyrus Torrence

O’Cyrus Torrence came to Florida from Louisiana after Billy Napier did the same and is considered one of the key additions to the Florida offense for 2022.

Listed at 6-5, 347 pounds, Torrence has experience playing both left and right guard. It is expected he slots in at right guard for Florida.

Torrence was widely praised for his play at Louisiana and is on the radar of many NFL scouts wanting to see if his level of play can translate to the SEC. Scouts love his size and love his power, though would like to see him play lower to the ground sometimes.

Torrence is familiar with Billy Napier’s offense and has been a key member of the transition from Dan Mullen to Napier.

Florida football offensive line: Michael Tarquin

After years of watching Jean Delance act as a human turnstile at right tackle, the presumed 2022 starter Michael Tarquin doesn’t have to do much to be an improvement.

Tarquin saw action in 12 games last season and started two.

Listed at 6-5, 320 pounds, Tarquin has been hit or miss when he has seen the field.

Against Missouri last season, Tarquin struggled to hold up in the passing game.

Against UCF in the Gasparilla Bowl, he was more willing to be physical in the run game and did well to peel off blocks to pick up outside blitzes.

The main question mark for Tarquin is his general inexperience compared to the other four presumed starters along the line.  But based on his film so far he should hold up just fine.
