Florida football defensive line: Tyreak Sapp

Rounding out the contributors to the D-line is Tyreak Sapp.

Sapp was a top 100 player in the class of 2021, and is looking to make a good first impression this season when he sees the field for the first time as a Gator.

He’ll be an edge rusher, meaning he’ll be behind Princely Umanmielen on the depth chart this year.

The prognosis on Sapp coming out of high school is that he has an elite motor and quick hands. This helps him to not only get off the edge in pursuit, but to catch a ball carrier outside the hashes if he breaks contain.

If Tyreak develops well this year, his natural build and energy can make him the future of the Gators’ D-line, and he’ll be a household name before he moves on.

Keep up with Florida football here.
