Florida football defensive line: Jaelin Humphries

Humphries, a 4 star recruit in the class of 2019, has yet to see the field for the Gators. He’ll hopefully get his chance this year as a backup on the interior line.

Jaelin has elite lower body strength, and his leg drive can overpower linemen at any level. While original scouting reports questioned his motor and hustle, Humphries has shown that he can pursue the ball even when it leaves the backfield.

With Jaelin’s size and mobility, he has the tools to be a great run stopper up front. If he can use this year to refine his skills and add some muscle, he’ll be a great DT for Florida football in 2023.
