Shemar James

Shemar James is the four-star, top 100 overall prospect out of Alabama.

The true freshman is listed at 6-1, 230 pounds, and was noted for his athleticism coming out of high school as a three-sport athlete, also doing track and basketball.

James missed most of his senior year in high school due to an ankle injury, but his junior year film showcased his ability as an athlete as he played both sides of the ball with the ability to highpoint the ball.

Obviously covering SEC running backs and receivers will be more difficult than high schoolers, but James should have the ability to hold up in coverage when asked.
