Andrew Savaiinaea

At 6-3, 261 pounds, freshman Andrew Savaiinaea is already one of biggest OLBs Florida has on its roster.

Savaiinaea is a converted three-star tight end/defensive lineman out of Washington.

The bulk of his senior highlight tape shows him at TE with decent mobility and a willingness to absorb contact.

His clips of him at DE show him as an edge rusher that did a decent job of coming off of a block to engage a ball carrier.

Given his build, if Savaiinaea sees the field this year one would assume it’s to primarily be an edge rusher, but it will be interesting to see if Billy Napier tries to match him up with opposing TEs in coverage.
