Jack Miller III
Jack Miller is a former four-star recruit that was rated the 13th best pro style QB by 247 Sports in the high school class of 2020.
Miller committed to Ohio State but was stuck behind Justin Fields in 2020 and CJ Stroud in 2021.
Miller transferred to Florida in December of 2021.
He only threw 14 passes while in Columbus, completing seven of them for 101 yards.
Listed at 6-4, Miller has the build of a typical pro-style QB.
But with next to no film on Miller from his Ohio State stint, all we really have to go on to evaluate Miller in the present is his Spring Game performance.
And let’s just say it wasn’t great.
Putting together official season preview stuff and watching back some clips from the Spring Game and I’m reminded:

If Anthony Richardson gets hurt and Jack Miller is forced to start 🫣 pic.twitter.com/yOSC5DkyCT
Miller was unsure in his decision making, threw an unacceptable interception in the endzone to a receiver that was double covered (all while having an open man in the flat on the same side), and general accuracy was off.
This isn’t to say that Miller can’t improve under Napier and it is unfair to call a guy a bust after one performance (though we are the same fan base that wanted to anoint Richardson the king after one game, so…..).
But there any many many question marks we should have of Miller if he gets tapped to go into the game.
