Trent Whittemore

Unlike the previous two, Whittemore was not heralded at all coming out of high school.

He has worked hard to move up the depth chart and receive playing time ahead of guys that were thought of more highly than him coming out of high school.

Whittemore caught 19 passes last year for 210 yards and had one touchdown grab.

Size wise, Whittemore fits in as an SEC receiver, listed at 6-3 206 pounds.

Before Pearsall’s arrival, many had Whittemore penciled in as Florida’s WR3 and he has shown flashes in camp to give Gator Nation hope he can fill the void.

But Whittemore already had the “Don’t sleep on Whittemore” treatment last season. It’s hard to write that story two years in a row until he proves himself.
