Would a preseason game in college football benefit the Florida Gators?

With football season getting underway on Thursday night with the annual NFL Hall of Fame Game, it got us thinking about how there’s no preseason at the college ranks. Despite there being obvious risks that come with full contact before meaningful games, a preseason contest may be a big boost to the Florida Gators and the other teams at the college level.

Here are the reasons why it’s both a bad and good idea to have preseason in college.
