Gator fans have been given lots of optimism in the recruiting game ever since Billy Napier and co took over, as there is a newfound energy among the coaching staff on the trail. Now, we’re starting to see some guys that the coaches have already gotten to commit doing some recruiting of their own.

4 star OL commit Knijeah Harris has taken it upon himself to get 5 star QB Jaden Rashada to Gainesville.

Harris, who committed to the Gators in early May, has gotten very active on social media ever since Rashada’s visit to UF a couple of days ago. On his Instagram story, he posted photos of Rashada decked out in a Gator uniform, with the caption “QB 1”.

He also went over to Twitter to influence Rashada.

Jaden isn’t the only player that Harris has tried to recruit recently. 5 Star offensive tackle Samson Okunlola released his Top 9 schools, which had the Gators among schools like UGA, Alabama, Ohio St, and others.

Harris immediately let Samson know what he thought of his recruitment.

Knijeah is doing an awesome job of trying to recruit teammates that he’ll play with a lot in Gainesville. Rashada could be the QB he snaps too, and Okunlola would be line up with Harris in the trenches.

It’s a very encouraging sign to see recruits that have already committed to the Gators trying to help swing other players in that direction. It shows that guys are already buying in to what Napier and his staff are trying to do, even without actually being on the team. It’s not common you see a first year staff doing as well on the trail as the Florida coaches are doing.

And who knows, maybe Harris is the exact guy that UF needs to lock down this pair of 5 star guys.

Keep up with Gator football here.
