Tight End #1: Trenton Gillison –  Michigan State – 4 star prospect

The first tight end on our list is a 4-star prospect from Michigan State, who entered the transfer portal in December of 2021.  Gillison has not received alot of playing time due to the plethora of receivers and tight ends on the Spartans roster.  This plethora also led to another Michigan State tight end entering the transfer portal in freshman Kameron Allen.  Gillison was solid in his first season with the Spartans, putting up 147 yards on 12 receptions for the team.

Gillison was given a .9089 grade by 247Sports Composite grading system, which is a very solid grade for any player.  While he has not been given an exceptional amount of playing time, he still has potential as a tight end.  At this moment in time, potential is exactly what Florida football needs to be looking for, as their other tight ends are a very scarce group.
