Two weeks before many big-time programs have played their spring games, the first major domino fell within the transfer portal. The former Gators target coming out of high school, highly rated 4-star WR Agiye Hall has decided to enter the transfer portal this week, according to a tweet from Matt Zenitz. With the Gators’ WR room lacking production and high-end talent, it surely wouldn’t hurt adding Hall… or would it?

After not being included on Alabama’s initial team roster, It was reported at a press conference with Alabama head coach Nick Saban that Hall was suspended for violating team rules. With Florida looking to rebuild under first-year head coach Billy Napier, you wouldn’t think this is something a team looking to build a new culture would welcome.  However, his talent is undeniable at a position of need. According to ESPN, Hall posted 4 catches for 72 yards as a Freshman, with 2 of those catches for 52 yards coming in the national championship game against Georgia.

Through Napier’s first months on campus, the players have raved about Napier being player-oriented. A change of scenery might just be what Hall needs by coming back to his home state of Florida. Hall would be a massive upgrade that comes with multiple years of eligibility. He would be able to compete right away as there are no clear indications that anyone has separated themselves in the receiver room this spring.

Look for the Gators to be extremely aggressive in the transfer portal market, with needs being WR, TE, and DT. When teams conclude spring practice, keep an eye out for who enters the transfer portal, as this is gearing up to be one of the wildest years in the transfer market yet.
