3 wide receiver options left for Florida football in the transfer portal

With the first official game for Florida football only 5 months away now, and their Orange and Blue opener less than two weeks away, we have a pretty good idea of what the roster will be for 2022.  However, there still are some options for Florida out in the transfer portal, some of whom have just recently entered it.  Wide receiver is a need for Florida, specifically a speedster if possible, but any type would help boast a better offense for whoever the QB1 may be (Anthony Richardson, Jack Miller, or otherwise).  In this article, I will be covering the 3 most optimal receivers for Florida, based on the following:

  • On the field production in their career so far
  • Scheme fit/specific type of receiver (X, Y, Z)
  • Avoiding any players with recent off-the-field concerns (legal, team suspension, etc.)

As much as a player such as Demond Demas would improve the receiver room, Florida football is trying to build a new culture with Billy Napier at HC.  Since the Demas case is still being reviewed, I will avoid this addition to the article until we have further information.
