AJ Harris – CB – Central HS (Alabama)

Rank among ’23 cornerbacks: #2

The next cornerback on the list of recruits is AJ Harris of Central HS.  Harris is another absolute phenom in the high school football landscape and has had a great career so far.  As of right now, he has the highest chance of these three to end up at Florida football according to the Crystal Ball, ranking in at a 54.5% chance.  Harris is also ranked at #17 as a prospect regardless of position in the 247 Composite scoring system.

In terms of his game, Harris is a slightly larger frame weight-wise, at 6’1″ 180 pounds, which gives him a slight advantage on that front.  The beauty of AJ is his versatility, as he will see many snaps at safety in his career on top of his strong man coverage capabilities.  Explosiveness is the name of his game, as he is extremely quick into his backpedal and stays locked onto receivers throughout the route and into the stem.
