Florida football: Top-5 potential signings

Florida football has shown that they have had a pretty decent secondary over the years. We are also used to them being able to handle the run in past years. That was not the case in 2021, the Gators had a tough time stopping the run and it’s clear they need some help upfront.

Caden Story is visiting the Florida campus later this week, as the Gators make a last bid for this big man. Story brings several things you would look for in a DL, one of them is his versatility. While Florida definitely needs some run stoppers, Story has been able to stop the run and get pressure on the quarterback.
The experts over at 247 recruiting have Story going to Clemson or Auburn. The third team Story is considering is indeed the Gators. He is set to visit campus this weekend, I think it is still a little early to tell whether Florida will be a major player for him next week. This weekend will go a long way for the Gators in the signing of this young man.
Do not underestimate Billy Napier though, you can feel the momentum shifting for Florida football every day now.
