I’m sure a lot of people are questioning the fact that a 3-star player is on this list of “top” possible signings for Florida football. Max Brown makes this list purely on the fact that he is a quarterback and that he is a hard commit to the Gators.

Florida does not have a quarterback signing yet in this class, it also appears that Max Brown would be the only option for the Gators. Nick Evers – a 4-star QB recruit- was committed to Florida for a while, but ended up flipping to Oklahoma back in December.

What is the most important position on the field? Yup, quarterback. You can’t have a class that does not contain a quarterback. Most, myself included, feel that Brown will most likely never see the field while he’s in Gainesville. But, you never know and you need a QB in the class. You’ll always have the Kyle Trask was a 2-star recruit to go off of.

Max Brown is ranked the 98th overall quarterback in the 2022 class by 247 recruiting. That is certainly not very impressive for someone thinking they will play quarterback at the University of Florida. Brown does have one big quality though, he’s a winner. He led his high school team back in Oklahoma to a 13-1 state runner-up finish and totaled 61 touchdowns in 2021.
