Just because Billy Napier and Florida football got a late start with the 2022 recruiting class, doesn’t mean he’s given up on making a gigantic splash.

Napier has been chasing the biggest unsigned recruit left all month long. Harold Perkins – 5-star linebacker- visited with the Florida football program back on January 14th. This peeked a lot of fans’ interest, but Perkins was still committed to signing with Texas A&M.

Gator fans got their signal to go wild this past Monday when Perkins posted this on Twitter.

Game on. He’s officially up for grabs, and Napier is making a massive last-minute effort to land this game-changing linebacker. Today a huge part of his coaching staff visited Perkins in his home state of Texas.

At this point, it’s still unclear if Billy Napier is also meeting with Perkins, but sending almost everyone that really matters on this staff is a huge move. With six days left until signing day, it is important to be constantly remind recruits of what you have to offer. Especially since Harold is going on a last-minute visit to rival LSU this weekend.

Perkins is expected to make a decision between Florida, LSU, and Texas A&M next week.
