The Florida Gators return home after a discouraging loss to Alabama over the weekend. It won’t get much easier for the 9-5 Gators as they host the 14-1 LSU Tigers. Florida enters the game having lost five of their last eight, while LSU has scored back-to-back wins over ranked SEC rivals.

This is a huge game for Gators head coach Mike White. A loss here could spell the end of his time in Gainesville. Florida heads into Wednesday’s tilt at 0-2 in SEC play. LSU is 2-1 in conference play, their lone loss to Auburn, who also defeated Florida in the Gators conference opener.

It will certainly be a tough test for the Gators’ as LSU has allowed an average of 56.4 points per game. Florida has a solid defense as well, allowing 63.4 points a game, inflated by their last 2 losses in which they gave up an average of 84 points.
