I think many Florida Gators fans and media members would agree with me when I say that the 2022 recruiting class has been so enjoyable to follow and loaded with elite talent. One big reason for this is 2022 quarterback commit Nick Evers.

Evers has shown that he’s already a star for the Gators without even enrolling on campus.

Evers’ infectious personality has been a staple in the Gators’ recruiting efforts.

If there is a big-named recruit undecided with Florida as one of their final schools, there is a good chance Evers has tweeted at them already to let them know Florida is the place to be. It may just be social media, but Evers is already showing that he will be a leader right away when he comes to Gainesville.

The 6-4, 190-pound four-star recruit isn’t just tweeting to show that the Gators have something special brewing with the 2022 class.

Nick Evers dominated the Elite 11 camp.

For those that do not know, the Elite 11 camp is a camp where the top 20 quarterbacks in the nation compete to showcase their skills and try to be ranked as one of the top 11 quarterbacks in the nation.

According to Sports Illustrated’s All-American composite rankings, Evers finished third, an incredible ranking for the future Gators quarterback.

Yes, you always want to win, and some people will see finishing third as not winning, but that’s just the wrong way to look at this. Evers showed he’s one of the top quarterbacks in the country, and Gators fans should be hyped up.

Evers will be going to the best situation for a young quarterback because he will learn under the best quarterback developer in college football, head coach Dan Mullen.

After officially being named to the prestigious Elite 11 fraternity, the sky is the limit for Evers, who has shined bright all offseason.

Next. Julian Humphrey will be the next elite Gators cornerback. dark
