The 2021 NFL Draft is over, and each draft prospect now has the new team they are playing for this upcoming season. Former Florida Gators tight end and the No. 1 player in the 2021 NFL Draft Kyle Pitts is now on the Atlanta Falcons.

Atlanta selected Pitts with the No. 4 overall pick, and Pitts was the highest-drafted non-quarterback.

Now that the draft is over, it is time for fantasy football owners and fantasy experts to evaluate their fantasy draft boards to rank which rookies they feel will make the most significant impact on fantasy football teams this year.

If you are like me and love football and fantasy football, I am a part of multiple fantasy football leagues.

One of those leagues is a dynasty league now in its 3rd season. I won’t go on and make you read about someone else’s fantasy team, but I will make the case as to why you should draft Pitts if he is available in your fantasy league this season.

Kyle Pitts is, without a doubt, one of the only rookies that should be drafted in 100% of PPR fantasy football leagues.

Rookies Najee Harris, Jaylen Waddle, Travis Etienne, and DeVonta Smith will also be drafted in most fantasy drafts, but Pitts is the rookie you should want over all of them.

I would want Pitts in my PPR dynasty league over all of the other top prospects too. I want him so bad that I gave up the farm to move up to the No. 1 overall pick to secure Pitts for my dynasty team.

A great tight end in fantasy football can be the difference between a championship and last place in a league. A great tight end can act just like a top wide receiver in most PPR leagues.

The teams in my league that has won have had the Travis Kelce’s, George Kittle’s, and Rob Gronkowski’s of the fantasy football world. I expect Kyle Pitts to insert his name with those great tight ends very soon, as he is already a top-five tight end in the NFL without even taking a snap.

Sometimes when a prospect is picked high in the draft, they don’t go to a great situation personnel-wise. However, Pitts went into an extraordinary situation having Matt Ryan as his quarterback and a top 5 passing attack last year.

Obviously, at the time of the draft, the Falcons still had Julio Jones, who was recently traded to the Tennessee Titans. However, now there are way more targets to come Pitts’ way.

Calvin Ridley has the talent to be Atlanta’s number one receiver, but Pitts should not be too far behind. Atlanta does not have a great run game either, with free agent running back Mike Davis taking over for Todd Gurley.

Also, learning from fellow tight end Hayden Hurst will be huge, as Hurst is an established tight end in the league.

Lastly, let’s be real, the Falcons will be down in most games, and Pitts will be hauling in a lot of garbage time receptions. That is why I will be drafting Pitts and why you should be drafting Pitts in all of your fantasy football leagues.
