According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Jacksonville Jaguars will sign former Florida Gators superstar Tim Tebow to a one-year deal. The kicker here is that Tebow will not be signed as a quarterback, but instead, the Jaguars will sign Tebow to play tight end.

I have already suggested that Jacksonville would sign Tebow to play the famous New Orleans Saints’ Taysom Hill role, mainly because of the connection to Meyer and Tebow’s perfect fit for that role.

It remains to be seen how Tebow will do as a pass catcher, but it is now a known fact that Meyer believes Tebow can help the Jaguars win football games.

Tebow’s career as an NFL quarterback did not work, but I am glad that he is back and trying to help a football team do what he does best, win. Tebow is a winner and has always been a winner.

His baseball career honestly kept him far too long away from this exact scenario, but I am glad he has found his way back.

I truly believe Tebow will be elite in the Hill role, and I do not see how he doesn’t dominate as a red zone quarterback. Tebow is still in great shape, and I think teams will hate having to gameplan for him coming into the game inside the 10-yard line.

Will Tim Tebow make the Jaguars?

I think there is a 0% chance Tebow doesn’t make the Jaguars. You have to look at it a few ways, but the main way to look at this is money. Jacksonville will sell a lot more tickets and merchandise with Tebow on the roster.

Tebow will put fans in the stadium too because who doesn’t want to see Tebow punch a 2-yard quarterback power in the end zone in the state of Florida? Just typing that gets me pumped up!

I predict that not only will Tebow make the team, Tebow will also score four or more touchdowns in 2021. Buckle up, football fans. I think Tebow Time is just beginning again.
