LSU Tigers
Oct. 10 | Ben Hill Griffin Stadium
Last season, the Tigers were a well-oiled machine, terrorizing the entirety of college football.
This year, not so much. LSU will be undergoing a makeover that involves losing talent on both sides of the ball.
However, the Tigers are no pushover and still pack a punch with Myles Brennan taking over quarterback duties.
"Ed Orgeron seems to be high on the young man, saying “I expect Myles to explode. I expect him to do all the things he needs to do to be a great quarterback.”"
Helping Brennan will be the return of Ja’Marr Chase, the junior receiver who racked up an outrageous 1,780 yards, with an equally outrageous 20 touchdowns.
If the LSU offense finds its stride, the Tigers could be in pursuit of another playoff berth.
Prediction
Both teams will look to get the ball into the hands of their playmakers, regularly, hoping to pick up chunks of yardage in a matchup where yards are hard to come by.
The defenses will be flying across the field to save every inch, forcing an extra down.
Ultimately, It will be a hard-fought game that will come down to the last quarter.
Eventually, Florida gets an important stop on defense to protect their small-margin lead and ultimately come away with a victory to keep their undefeated streak alive.
