For the past three seasons, this matchup has showcased a number of bizarre scenarios, ending in heartbreak on both sides.

Kentucky coach, Mark Stoops, has seemingly figured out a formula to annually keep Florida football on their toes.

The Wildcats own one of the best offensive line units in the SEC. A group that plans to protect their returning quarterback, Terry Wilson.

Wilson missed most of the 2019 season due to injury but plans to return with a bang.

And what a better way to start than with a win over Florida football.

Prediction

Todd Grantham will be looking to suppress the Kentucky running attack. Primarily, containing Wilson, who made Florida pay in 2018 by virtue of broken plays.

If the Gators are able to force Wilson to stay in the pocket, mistakes will be made, allowing Kyle Trask and company to strike.

Look for Dan Mullen to try and find success on the ground, taking advantage of Kentucky’s interior line and linebackers. A group that lost Calvin Taylor, T.J. Carter, and Kash Daniel to the NFL.

Florida will outlast a tough Wildcats team, pulling away by two possessions in the fourth quarter, giving Florida football their first conference win in 2020.
