Home-and-Home

Going back to the Big 10, another matchup that would have a lot of promise would be Florida football taking on Wisconsin.

I mean, imagine it.

Florida football playing Wisconsin in the snow at Camp Randle Stadium. Or, vice-versa, Wisconsin sweating as soon as they got off the bus at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

I can’t remember the last time I saw Florida football play a game in the snow.

In terms of matchup, the Badgers are known for having stout defenses and a very strong running game.

What better challenge for the Gators than to have all the offensive weapons they have with Kyle Trask at the helm going up against a beefy defense in Wisconsin?

Also, wouldn’t it be great to watch the Florida football defense stuff whatever big-time running back the Badgers have at the time?

This would be another nationally televised game, no matter where it is. Both schools travel well — although I can see some Florida fans balking at traveling to Madison either in September or November. — and it would be an exciting atmosphere to see.

Not to mention the fact that it would also be a very competitive game.

Just a note, Florida has never played Wisconsin in football.
