We have now approached the end of the Florida football season. Of course, the Gators are good enough and will be involved in a big bowl game.

It is the regular season that has come to end and that means two things. The Gators and the Seminoles faced off in the Swamp for what turned out to be a romp by Florida football.

The other is it will be the last game for recruits to come to have their visit and catch a game.

For some coming to a game of the magnitude of this one will make a lasting impression on a recruit. Saturday night there were several recruits in the house at The Swamp and loving every minute of it.

Official visits

There were several who had confirmed they would be in Gainsville for their official visits to Florida football. Issiah Walker The four-star offensive tackle out of Miami was on campus to take his official visit. He has been in Gainesville before but this one had to be special.

He tweeted “Great day to be a Gator,” after Saturday nights win.

Xzavier Henderson was also on campus for his official visit. Although he has been in Gainesville many times in the past, this was his official visit. What a game he got to see.

As well JUCO receiver Malik Heath was in The Swamp. these two top receivers got a chance to see just what they would be in for.

A system that thrives on the receivers and will use them in many different areas.  And when you play like this. Florida football is where you belong.

Phillip Webb an outside linebacker with a knack for the making the tackle, was at the game for his official visit as well Saturday.

Rashad Torrence II  a hard-hitting safety out of Georgia came to see the battle first hand for his official visit.

The defensive stars picked a great game as they got to see just how good a defense they will play for.

The defense had eight sacks on the night and put pressure on the FSU offense all game.

Commits that come to help

There were also several big-time commits that made a visit on Saturday. These are some of the guys that have been real recruiters for Florida football.

Having these guys in the mix with some of the guys that are on the fence can be just what is needed to push one over to the Gator side.

Marc Britt Told Hail Florida Hail his thoughts on this game right before game time;

"“Game means a lot to the team so it means a lot to me it’s a rivalry game so I know everyone’s coming hard to play.”"

Several others such as QB Anthony Richardson and tight end Jonathan Odom, solid recruits that will be on hand to help make this a top class.

Two offensive line commits also came to see the big victory, Gervon Dexter and Antwaun Powell.

And guys like Derek Wingo, who came to Gainesville this weekend, have been big voices for the class of 2020. They can add to what the guys that are on the fence see for the future.

No commits in town

These are the guys that have not committed yet or may have committed but are still thinking about it.

A game like this one with commits on hand it would be hard to not want to be in Gainsville.

Guys like Tight end Jaheim Bell who once committed to Florida football or Alabama DT commit Tim Smith. These guys may just need to see what they have in Florida, and they saw it with that big win.

Also in town was North Carolina commit Clyde Pinder who is just the type that may want to change to Florida football. He just received an offer from the Gators and will return for another visit soon.

Defensive back Ethan Pouncey and his brother Texas WR  Jordan Pouncey, who is transferring, were in Gainesville for the battle.

With the help of those commits and coaches, these guys will end up playing in the Swamp.

Gators together

All these recruits are the future of a team that has worked hard to get back to the way Florida football always has been, on top. These are of course just a few of the guys that will come in here and help make this team even better than they are now. The future is very bright and there is nothing better for a recruit to see than a big win in the Swamp.

Next. Gators run wild on Florida State Saturday. dark

We hope to see all those that came here in a Florida uniform soon. As we are all #GATORSTOGETHER.
