It’s do or die time for Florida football as they enter the last two games of the regular season. With just two losses, there’s still plenty to play for.

Florida football enters dangerous territory when it takes on Missouri in Columbia this weekend.

In at No. 11, the Gators still have quite a bit to play for, not the least of which is the outside shot of making the SEC championship game — yes, we are actually rooting for both Auburn and Texas A&M.

But, if nothing else, Florida football has the chance to make a New Year’s 6 bowl game, which would be quite the feather in the cap of head coach Dan Mullen and the program.

But, we have to get past Missouri first before heading into a bye week.

Here’s a look at five players who could change the game against Missouri:

1. Lamical Perine, running back

There’s no question Missouri has a great pass defense. Their run defense … not so much.

Here’s where Lamical Perine comes into the picture.

I am just clamoring for a break-out game by Perine, Dameon Pierce, Malik Davis — hell, any running back will work. But, I really want to see Perine run rampant on a defense.

While I think Florida State provides a better opportunity for the Florida football running game, I think there are vulnerabilities with Missouri.

They are going to be hyper-focused on the passing game (we’ll get to that in a minute) that overlooking Perine is a strong possibility. Plus, if you take into account our poor run offense, that’s another reason to overlook it.

Regardless, I think Perine can make a big mark in his second-to-last game as a Gator.
