5. Wait, no sacks?

Remember when Florida led the nation in sacks?

I remember when the Florida football defense sliced and diced Miami’s offensive line to the tune of double-digit sacks in a game.

Now, against Georgia, despite having a healthy Jonathan Greenard and Jabari Zuniga, the Gators had zero sacks.

In fact, it was only the second game where the Florida defense had no sacks.

The last time? In its loss at LSU.

So, what do we take away from this?

No sacks in a game could translate into a loss for the Gators.

Now, I know there’s more to it than that, but I think it’s interesting that the only two games where the Florida football defense doesn’t record a sack are the two games they’ve lost this season.

Interesting, if nothing else.
