2. No rush, big problem

The Florida football rushing attack was nowhere to be found in a game where it was really needed.

Lamical Perine had 31 yards on seven attempts while Dameon Pierce had 11 yards on three rushes. But it was the -22 yards on six rushes by Trask that erased all of that. Of those lost yards, 20 of them came from two sacks.

The Gators’ offensive line was worked for most of the game as Georgia’s defensive simply manhandled any rushing attack Florida tried to put together.

By not being able to establish the run, Florida football was forced to throw the ball, which wasn’t bad, but not a situation you want to be in all the time.

Conversely, the Florida defense deserves a lot of credit as they halted D’Andre Swift and the Georgia ground game to the tune of just 119 yards on the ground — total.

Swift had 86 yards on 25 carries, but it was a below-average performance for the Bulldogs.
