4. Ohio State, Big Ten

Why not take on the school your former coach left you for?

With the state both programs are in and likely to be in the future, this would be a big-time matchup and the networks would eat it up.

Florida football has a 2-0 record against Ohio State — last beating the Buckeyes 24-17 in the 2011 Gator Bowl. Oh, they also beat Ohio State for the BCS National Championship, 41-14 in 2007.

I actually like this because of the storylines it has.

I like the fact you have two big-time programs squaring off for a game that would certainly excite both fan bases.

The problem is whether Ohio State has room in the schedule to make something like this happen — or, if they even want to.

Will it happen: I really, really like this as a potential home-and-home, but I don’t see Ohio State making the schedule happen for it. I could be wrong. And, I really kind of hope I am.
