Florida football: Gator underclassmen with the most impact

It’s easy for them to get lost in the shuffle when talking about Florida football. But, what we tend to forget is the Gators have a good number of underclassmen on the roster — and making waves.

In writing about Florida football, I am just as guilty as the next person about it.

You know you are too.

We tend to focus on the seniors or graduate transfers like Jonathan Greenard, Lamical Perine, David Reese and Nick Buchanan.

But, we forget about the fact that of the typically starting 22 for Florida football, five of them are underclassmen — freshmen and sophomores for the purpose of this.

And, those underclassmen have made an impact this season on both sides of the ball.

Here’s a look at how those five underclassmen have performed so far this season:
