The offensive line

If you haven’t already sold the Florida football offensive line down the river, you might want to go ahead.

We are at the midway point of the season and I just don’t see the necessary improvement for this to become a top offensive line, at least not this year.

The run game still struggles — only one 100-yard rusher this season — and we’re fortunate that Trask doesn’t have an issue with stepping up in the pocket or even running out of it, otherwise we’d be talking a lot more about sacks.

This line is young and relatively inexperienced. Only center Nick Buchanan returned after last year, so I get it.

But, I was hoping to see a little more improvement at this point of the season, and I haven’t.

So, this is a hard sell.
